Two exclusive residences will go under the hammer this month in the US through leading global firm Concierge Auctions.
The first one is Hacienda de la Paz, a 51,000-sq-ft home in Rolling Hills, California. This property overlooks the city of Los Angeles at the crest of Palos Verdes Peninsula and is the only residence in the Americas designed by award-winning Spanish architect Rafael Manzano Martos.
Originally listed at $53 million, the home will sell without reserve in cooperation with Jade Mills of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate and Jason Oppenheim of The Oppenheim Group. The live, onsite auction will take place on July 26.
The 7.4-acre compound, which took 17 years to build, comprises nine bedrooms; 25 bathrooms; a state-of-the-art gourmet kitchen; a 10th century, 10,000-sq-ft Moorish hammam spa; indoor pool, grand ballroom; indoor tennis court; Renaissance inspired, hand painted chapel; and an English library styled after a 19th century gentleman’s club with flooring crafted from 800-year-old river recovered logs; a 15,000-sq-ft, 18th-century neoclassical ballroom; gym; yoga room; wine cellar and more catering facilities.
Interior details include handcrafted interlocking ceilings; plush carpets; custom draperies and furnishings; and hand-picked building materials from Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Morocco.
Outdoor luxuries include Moorish gardens and fountains; groves of olive trees; a bocce court; red clay tennis court; infinity edge pool with jetliner views of Los Angeles; a guesthouse with maid and staff quarters; and equestrian and hiking trails. Additionally, there is a six-car garage and motor court with handcrafted limestone driveways.
The other property is in Miami - a 36th floor residence in the renowned Porsche Design Tower – a rare offering that includes a robotic car elevator that brings its residents up via a sky garage.
Previously listed at $8.9 million, the 4,749-square-foot residence includes three bedrooms, five bathrooms and a private terrace overlooking the ocean. Along with the three-story lobby with a glass car observatory, there are glass entry/exit rooms for automobile transfer to the car elevator. The property will sell to the highest bidder without reserve on July 31.
Located on Sunny Isles Beach with 200 feet of sugar-sand ocean frontage, 18555 Collins Avenue, Apt. #3605 will sell without reserve in cooperation with Marc Hameroff of Submarket Realty, Engel and Voelkers.
The home includes furnishings by Mercedes Benz, with a Poggenpohl designer kitchen with Miele appliances, motorised upper cabinets, BLUM-Motion drawers, and marble island; sleek master sanctuary with stone spa bath, Dornbracht fixtures, automatic Toto Neorest toilet with integrated bidet, and unobstructed water views.
Porsche Design Tower properties offer five-star service and amenities, security, and an oceanfront-entertaining oasis. The building features include 24-hour valet service; yoga and massage rooms; hair salon; steam, sauna, and ice therapy rooms; fitness centre with Milon equipment; Dornbracht Vichi shower; sunset deck with infinity edge pool; movie theatre with stadium seating; community room; exclusive restaurant and lounge bar with 24-hour security and oceanfront ballroom.
