Montblanc has celebrated the unveiling of its new-look Bahrain City Centre boutique during an exclusive launch this week.
Montblanc launched Bahrain’s first Neo² concept boutique, the design currently being rolled out around the world, together with Hatam, its longstanding partner in the kingdom.
VIP guests enjoyed an evening discovering the diversity of the maison’s rich product offering in the immersive new retail environment, including the recently launched Meisterstück Le Petit Prince Special Edition Collection which pays tribute to the much-loved literary character of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s classic novel.
Designed by Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, the 120 sq m boutique strikes a balance between contemporary design and classical elegance, enhancing the fine qualities of the maison’s core timepiece, leather, jewellery, watch and iconic writing instrument collections through a selection of distinct materials.
Watchmaking is brought to life through the use of bronze-sheen brass, leather and wood; black leather and walnut wood reflect the maison’s leather goods expertise; while lacquers and fine metals evoke writing instruments and jewellery.
A wide selection of the maison’s new and collectable timepieces are showcased in the Bahrain City Centre boutique, including the 1858 Collection designed for the modern-day explorer and stylish TimeWalker Manufacture Chronograph Collection with panda dial. Technology enthusiasts will enjoy the link between digital and luxury with the intuitive Summit Smartwatch, as well as the Sartorial Augmented Paper Collection which converts handwritten notes into digital notes.
Of interest to collectors, the City Centre boutique will also house a range of the maison’s Writers Edition, Great Character, and Muse special edition writing instruments.
Today’s urban travellers will also enjoy a wide selection of sophisticated leather accessories, and stylish yet versatile luggage. Defined by high performance, sleek modern design and durability, the new range of #My4810 trolleys are crafted to fit in with the lifestyles of those on the go.
Commenting on the reopening of the City Centre Mall boutique, Franck Juhel, President of Montblanc Middle East, India and Africa, said: “We are delighted to unveil the first Neo² concept boutique in Bahrain, and to extend the premium shopping experience that is being introduced by Montblanc around the world, to our discerning customers here.”
Ismail Hatam said: “This marks another significant milestone in an already long and successful partnership with Montblanc. The new boutique design reflects Montblanc’s constant quest for purposeful and aesthetic innovations and is beautifully appointed to inspire new and existing customers to learn about Montblanc’s longstanding heritage.”
