IWC Schaffhausen continues to celebrate 150 years of making beautiful timepieces with the IWC Museum Jubilee Roadshow stopping at the IWC Boutique in Dubai Mall.
The exclusive and iconic Museum Jubilee collection, usually housed at IWC’s museum in Schaffhausen, is on show at the IWC Boutique in Dubai Mall till September 30 as part of the Museum Jubilee Roadshow.
An IWC Museum app will also be available to allow everyone to discover IWC’s historic timepieces. It’s not every day that you get to see an 1875 Savonnette pocket watch with a Jones calibre in person, but the Museum Jubilee Roadshow gives customers the chance to experience and learn more about the iconic watch collection and its stunning vintage timepieces.
The IWC Museum Jubilee Roadshow sets out to give watch enthusiasts, collectors and IWC customers the opportunity to experience IWC’s past, present and future in one location.
The Swiss watch manufacturer is exhibiting four sets of timepieces, which each highlight the history behind the individual timepieces.
“Having the opportunity to bring IWC’s most iconic and historic timepieces to Dubai makes the brand’s 150-year anniversary celebration even more special. It’s definitely a collection that everyone can learn something from while gaining fascinating insights into the history of IWC,” commented Mehdi Rajan, IWC Regional Brand Director Middle East, India and Africa.
“We are delighted to present IWC’s history to customers, connoisseurs and collectors from the UAE.”
The IWC Museum Jubilee Roadshow will present historic pieces such as an 1875 IWC Savonnette pocket watch with the F A Jones calibre, an 1885 Lepine pocket watch with a Pallweber III movement, a 1942 Portugieser wristwatch, a 2001 Portugieser Automatic, a 1955 lngenieur, a 1995 Romana Perpetual Calendar, a 1986 Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar Ceramic, a 1974 wristwatch, a 1998 UTC Pilot’s Watch and a 1967 AD Aquatimer.
IWC customers who cannot make it to the boutique have the freedom to view the collection from the comfort of their own homes with the IWC Museum app, now available on iOS and Google Play.
