Autumn 2018
Boeing will showcase its latest products and services at the Bahrain International Airshow 2018.
“The Bahrain Airshow is a fast-growing industry event in the Middle East, a region which is experiencing a high growth within the commercial aviation sector,” says Marty Bentrott, Vice President – Sales, Middle East, Russia and Central Asia, Boeing Commercial Airplanes.
“Boeing continues to be the aerospace leader, gaining increasing demand for its technologically-innovative products globally and regionally and the air show provides the opportunity for Boeing to showcase our products and services and to interact with our partners, customers and other industry stakeholders,” he says.
“We are also proud to support our partnership with Gulf Air who took delivery of their first 787 Dreamliner earlier this year,“ Bentrott adds.
“Gulf Air joins the growing number of airlines operating the 787 Dreamliner across the Middle East. The demand for the Dreamliner underlines the operational efficiency and travel experience that the airplane brings to the airline and its passengers,” he says.
Boeing has delivered more than 670 787s since deliveries began in 2011. The 787 fleet has flown more than 240 million passengers while saving over 23 billion pounds of fuel and enabling airlines to open more than 180 new nonstop routes around the world, he adds.
