The next generation of Audi A6, which offers enhanced comfort, sportiness and elegant design, is now available in the Middle East.
This eighth generation of the successful luxury sedan introduces numerous innovations into the segment.
The all-digital MMI touch response system provides intuitive operation and even more personalisation. The suspension combines smooth ride comfort and unshakable stability with enhanced sportiness and the engine uses an efficient mild hybrid system.
Together with the A8 and A7 Sportback models, the A6 is a distinguished ambassador for the new Audi design language. With taut surfaces, clear edges and striking lines, it conveys sporty elegance, cutting-edge technology and premium quality.
Its interior focuses consistently on its fully digital operating system and is a trendsetter in the segment. The MMI touch response operating system with haptic and acoustic feedback provides quick, intuitive operation. Its extensive connectivity and assistance solutions offer even greater safety and convenience.
Highlights among the driver assistance systems include the parking pilot and garage pilot, as well as the adaptive driving assistant. It supports longitudinal and lateral control that helps keep the car in its lane even in narrow lanes and roadwork sections. On the road, the Audi A6 is as agile as a sports car and as nimble as a compact model. The new dynamic all-wheel-drive steering system plays a major role in that. It combines a direct, sporty steering response with superior driving stability while reducing the turning circle of the sedan by up to 1.1 m (3.6 ft). The new damping concept also provides intensive yet finely differentiated feedback from the road.
Audi offers the new A6 with a 3.0 TFSI engine that has an output of 340 hp and is equipped with a mild hybrid system as standard for added comfort and efficiency.
Long journeys are the domain of the new Audi A6. With a generous amount of space, many convenience features and minimal interior noise, the business-class sedan pampers driver and passengers alike. Its interior is even larger than on the outgoing model – the A6 beats the core competitors in important criteria such as legroom in the rear.
The A6 is perfectly equipped for long journeys with new convenience functions. The seats are all-new. The top-of-the-line options include the customised contour front seats with numerous adjustment functions, optionally fitted with ventilation and massage function. The optional air quality package provides a subtle fragrance and improves the air with an ionizer.
The low noise level of the A6 also makes it an ideal long-distance specialist. The body structure is a major factor in achieving this. Designed with a mixed steel and aluminum construction, the body is extremely rigid. It provides the basis for high torsional stiffness, minimal body movement and the sporty, precise handling.
The wide range of colours and materials which Audi provides for the new A6 lend the interior design very different characteristics – from elegant through contemporary to sporty. Five interior trim lines are available with different colour concepts: basic, sport, design, design selection and the S line sport package with 19-inch wheels and sport suspension.
Starting price in Bahrain for A6 is BD26,480.
