‘Bloom’ – a fascinating exhibition of abstract paintings by well-known UAE-based artist Nada Al Barazi has opened at Canal Central Hotel Business Bay.
The touring exhibition will continue at the hotel until February 28 before moving to the luxurious Royal Central Hotel The Palm where it will remain until March 31.
Welcoming the artist, Ahmad Al Abdulla, Chairman of Central Hotels, said: “We are delighted to support this beautiful exhibition by Ms Nada Al Barazi who is an accomplished painter. We are confident this exceptional exhibition will serve as a big milestone in collaboration of art between Central Hotels and local artists as we believe great art, music, culture, people and food all combine to enrich the soul of a hotel. Therefore, art for us is not only ornamental but fundamental.”
As a brand Central Hotels strives to support the local community of artists as well as cater to its guests’ desire for new experiences by enhancing the hotel ambience, he said.
Ammar Kanaan, Group General Manager of Central Hotels, stressed: “Travellers today are looking to be immersed in local culture and a focus on art is woven into our brand. It is wonderful to see how Ms Nada has used a blaze of colours to capture the diverse moods and landscapes.”
Using a mix of mediums such as oil and acrylic on canvas, Nada has produced stunning abstracts inspired by nature.
Elaborating on the style, Nada said: “My art is a reflection of my soul like a piano with many strings, my eyes are the hammers, and my colours are the key, which I use to create a unique shade for each work of art. What is incredibly significant to me as an artist is to share my vision with this beautiful world through my art and I am very pleased to collaborate with Central Hotels to showcase my works.”
