Award-winning American actress Julianne Moore and British actor Eddie Redmayne were among a host of stars who were bedecked in stunning jewellery and watches from Switzerland’s Chopard at the 2015 Golden Globes Awards.
Organised by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the prestigious annual film awards, which recognise both film and TV, were held last week at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California in the US.
Moore, who won Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture Drama for her role in Still Alice, wore a pair of 15-carat diamond cluster earrings set in platinum, an asscher cut diamond line bracelet (44 carats) set in platinum, a fancy-shape diamond line bracelet (24 carats) set on platinum, an oval shaped diamond ring (8 carats) set in platinum, an oval shaped diamond ring (5 carats) set in 18-karat white gold and an asscher cut diamond ring (24 carats) set in platinum, all from the Swiss manufacture’s High Jewelry collection.
Eddie Redmayne, winner of Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture Drama for his role in The Theory of Everything, walked the red carpet wearing a Chopard Classic Manufacture watch in rose gold.
Kenyan actress, former Golden Globe winner and one of the evening presenters Lupita Nyong’o selected to wear a pair of Precious Temptation earrings featuring briolette cut amethysts (30 carats), cushion shaped peridots (8 carats) and brilliants (3 carats) set in 18-karat white gold, a Precious Temptations ring featuring an oval shaped amethyst (12 carats), marquise cut tanzanites, rubies, blue and pink sapphires all set in 18-karat rose gold, an Ice Cube ring featuring pastel sapphires (4 carats) and square cut pink diamonds set in 18-karat rose gold, a white diamond Ice Cube ring set in 18-karat yellow gold and a brilliant cut white diamond (2 carats) set in 18-karat rose gold from L’Heure du Diamant collection.
British actress Helen Mirren, nominated for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical for her role in The Hundred Foot Journey, chose to wear a pair of ruby (9 carats) and diamond (3 carats) earrings set in 18-karat white gold from the Red Carpet collection.
British actor and one of the evening’s presenters Colin Firth chose to wear an LUC watch set in 18-karat white gold featuring a black dial and black leather strap.
And founder and Creative Director of Eco Age Livia Firth selected to wear pear-shaped diamond drop earrings (18 karat) set in Fairmined 18-karat white gold from the Green Carpet collection and a fancy vivid orange yellow heart shaped diamond ring (5 carats) set in diamond pave (3 carats) and 18-karat white gold from the High Jewelry collection.
Chopard’s roots go back to more than 150 years, when Louis-Ulysse Chopard founded his own workshop in 1860 in Sonvillier, the Swiss Jura. Since 1963, Chopard has been owned by the Scheufele family and its headquarters today located in Geneva.
