Summer 2014
Hermès’s latest Cape Cod Tonneau exudes a vision of time conveyed through the curves of its case, while a new dial stamped with a geometrical motif lends a modern touch to the design.
The diamond-set model with a smooth elephant grey alligator strap makes a beautiful timeless Eid gift for loved ones.
Its barrel-shaped case, along with all of the new Cape Cod Tonneau and Nantucket models, is made from ‘Silver’, a silver alloy based on a composition exclusive to Hermès which better preserves the inimitable radiance of the precious metal.
This alloy features a larger proportion of silver than the conventional 925 alloy, and was specially developed to ensure that silver maintains its characteristic glow over the years, according to Hermès.
The case of this model is set with 64 VVS diamonds of 1.6 carats, and features an interchangeable strap.
The case is topped with an anti-glare sapphire crystal. On the opaline silvered dial are placed rhodium-plated Arabic numerals and hands, while a motif adorns its centre. The watch is powered by a Swiss-made quartz movement.
