Ebel’s evolutionary interpretation of its Sport Classic is now available across the Gulf.
Launched in 1977, the Ebel Sport Classic quickly became one of the most widely recognised design statements throughout the watch industry, says the Swiss luxury watchmaker.
Its perfectly integrated case and bracelet and distinctive wave-shaped links radiated a sense of movement while offering an incredibly supple feel.
This design element became an Ebel brand signature.
Now, the new Ebel Wave – recently featured by Arabian Knight in an article on new year gifts - maintains the DNA of the iconic wave bracelet but energises it with more modern and dynamic design elements.
The case profile and the wave-shaped links are bolder and most distinctive while retaining the sensuous, fluid lines and curves so emblematic of Ebel.
This new collection will appeal to the modern, chic woman and man looking for a strong yet elegant identity watch that exhibits the highest quality finishing and details for which the manufacture is renowned.
Available for women and men, with 30-mm and 40-mm diameter cases respectively, both watches are crafted in stainless steel and 18-karat yellow gold.
The bezel of Ebel Wave Lady is adorned with 58 diamonds (0.377 carats) in VS quality, and its feminine dial in white mother-of-pearl displays a further 8 diamonds.
The two-toned stainless steel bracelet wraps its wave-shaped links delicately around the wrist, expressing a second-skin feel.
For gents, the watch is offered with a silver-toned galvanic dial with applied Ebel symbol at 12.00 and a date window at 3.00.
In the Gulf, the Ebel Wave Lady (Ref. 1216198) is priced at around $4,100, while the Ebel Wave Gent (Ref. 1216202) costs around $2,100.
Ebel was founded by husband and wife Eugene Blum and Alice Levy, in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1911. Since its inception, the brand has remained true to their core values, manufacturing fine Swiss watches that marry technical expertise and distinctive style.
Today, Ebel continues to create timepieces that embody luxury and contemporary elegance with subtle, yet exquisite detail.
