Lebanese designer Nada Debs will exhibit a retrospective of 10 years of craft and contemporary design next month in Dubai, UAE.
The retrospective will be showcased at Design Days Dubai, from March 16 to 20. Dedicated to collectible and limited edition furniture and design objects, Design Days Dubai is part of Art Week 2015.
Nada Debs is known as one of the most talented contemporary designers of the Middle East and the 10 years mark the importance and sentiment behind the pride and heritage that is present in every piece she meticulously crafts.
The next 10 years brings about a new direction, #craftcool, a contemporary course that still is true to the distinctive Debs’ identity but “pushes the boundary further” - a facelift to the brand that builds on the minimalist ideal of her Japanese influenced past: less is more.
At Design Days, Debs will exhibit a commemoration of her 10-year journey as a Middle Eastern brand through her iconic furniture and home accessories and also unveil a new limited edition piece.
Nada Debs will also host a launch event at Comptoir 102 restaurant on March 18 to showcase an exclusive collection of her iconic pieces and never before seen furniture and home accessories.
