Jet Aviation’s MRO facility at Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow, Russia, has received approval from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to provide line maintenance to Gulfstream G650 aircraft.
With the EASA Part-145 approval, Jet Aviation Moscow Vnukovo is authorised to provide line maintenance to the new ultra-long-range, ultra-large-cabin jet.
“We are constantly striving to enhance our service offerings to meet our customers’ needs,” says Vitaly Aleksikov, General Director at Jet Aviation Moscow Vnukovo. “Larger, high-end aircraft tend to dominate the market here and this authorization attests our high standards and capabilities in supporting them. It is an important service expansion for Gulfstream customers and operators in the region.”
Jet Aviation Moscow Vnukovo provides 24/7 technical maintenance services, including line maintenance, defect rectification and AOG (aircraft on ground) services, at Vnukovo International Airport to Bombardier, Gulfstream, Embraer and Hawker aircraft operators.
As part of Jet Aviation’s global MRO (maintenance, repair and operations) network, the company particularly supports AOG requirements throughout the Russian region.
Jet Aviation Moscow Vnukovo is a line maintenance, AOG and authorised warranty line service facility for Bombardier aircraft products as well as an authorised line service facility for the full line of Gulfstream jets.
Located next to the Vnukovo 3 FBO (fixed base operations) building, the facility currently holds maintenance approvals from EASA #145.0472, Aruba DCA, Cayman CAA and Bermuda DCA.
A wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics, Jet Aviation was founded in Switzerland in 1967 and is one of the leading business aviation services companies in the world.
Close to 5,000 employees cater to client needs from 25 airport facilities throughout Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North and South America.
The company provides maintenance, completions and refurbishment, engineering, FBO and fuel services, along with aircraft management, charter services, aircraft sales and personnel services. Jet Aviation's European and US aircraft management and charter divisions jointly operate a fleet of more than 200 aircraft.
