To mark its first year in Dubai, UAE, Fortnum & Mason has introduced an all-day dining menu, showcasing its passion for food and speciality in refined dining experiences.
Served in the newly renamed ‘Restaurant & Tea Salon’ with stunning views over the Burj Khalifa, the new menu brings together the finest ingredients to create a wide range of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The menu features renowned British Classics and established Fortnum’s favourites such as Welsh rarebit - perhaps one of Fortnum’s most famous dishes, mushroom and tarragon soup and chicken liver parfait as starters or light dishes.
For mains, there is roast rack of lamb, baked wild sea bass, seared Wagyu beef fillet and various accompanying sides. Desserts include the long-adored knickerbocker glory, invented by Fortnum’s, Fortnum’s preserve roly poly and banana and lime Eton Mess, and a selection of cheeses to with which to finish. Organic produce is used wherever possible across the menu.
“We are proud to be launching the all-day dining concept in Dubai - we thought there was no better occasion to do so than on our first anniversary. Our Head Chef Paul Ryan is remarkably talented and has a great understanding of our foodie philosophy. The dishes are typically British and of the absolute finest quality, varied and delightfully tasty; really reflective of what we serve in London and all that we stand for at Fortnum’s,” said Ewan Venters, Fortnum & Mason CEO.
Breakfast is served from 9 am to noon, with lunch and dinner options now available from noon till late.
In addition to the new all-day dining menu, visitors to Fortnum’s can indulge in its famous afternoon tea and some of the best ice cream in Dubai in the Ice Cream Parlour, including stunning flavours such as Salted Caramel, Lemon Curd Sorbet, Florentine and Mint Chocolate.
Since its foundation in Piccadilly in 1707 Fortnum & Mason has been at the heart of London life, supplying the very finest goods and services. From the Food Halls at street level to the Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon on the Fourth Floor, it is filled with unique and exceptional food and gifts.
In November 2013 Fortnum & Mason opened its second UK store in 308 years at London’s St. Pancras International Station, and in March 2014, its first standalone store outside the UK in Dubai. In November 2014, Fortnum & Mason opened its first standalone airport store at Heathrow Terminal 5.
