A month and a half away from the 2019 Only Watch charity auction, one of the most looked for events of the watchmaking year, the 50 unique lots that compose the collection are being showcased in Dubai from today (October 1).
The watches started their world tour on September 25.
Only Watch is a bi-annual exhibition organised under the High Patronage of Prince Albert II of Monaco that this year will see 50 unique watches to be auctioned with all the proceeds of the sale going to Monegasque Association against muscular dystrophy to support scientific and medical research on Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), a devastating myopathy affecting one in 3,000 male births.
In the build-up to the final event, the 50 watches including Bovet, Piaget, Zenith, Ulysse Nardin, Jaeger Le Coulture and more will travel to 10 different locations around the world, including to Dubai, as part of a travelling exhibition.
The 10 stop-over cities will have the privilege of welcoming the most beautiful selection of unique watches ever gathered to finance research on Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
The watches will be displayed from October 1 to 3 in Dubai at Christie’s, in association with Seddiqi.
An exclusive media preview at Christie's will be attended by Luc Pettavino, President of the Association Monégasque Contre les Myopathies, and the founder of Only Watch.
