Behnoode collection pays tribute to time Behnoode, a homegrown Middle Eastern fashion house has unveiled its Summer 2020 Capsule Collection named Time-Trapped, a contemplation on the importance of time.
"Summer 2020 will always be remembered in history. A time when the world changed, awakened and transformed. A time that will never be forgotten. Where reflection and insight dominated our thoughts... Why? Because We had the luxury of Time," says Behnoode.
The “Time Trapped” Collection was shot in a picturesque train station to represent the journey of life and its numerous destinations.
The juxtaposition of the bright pastel suits against the black tailored trousers represents the duality of time.
The energetic colours of the jacket which are in sky blue, sand beige, sunset orange, waterfall mints, celestial cyan and paradise pink interpret the magical hues of summer.
Each suit has been woven with the finest silks and wools, effortlessly merging into each other, just like how time is woven into each and every moment, says the fashion house.
The collection also highlights the brand’s signature suit designs that range from single-breasted suits, double-breasted suits and lounge suits.
“The journey of life is a constant movement, and time and tide wait for none. Constantly in motion and constantly evolving. Each moment of time is precious and each moment, once it’s gone, can never be returned again," said Behnoode Javaherpour, Founder and Creative Director at Behnoode.
In the latest collection, the designer explores the ‘power of time’ and its value. “We went from our busy schedules outside into staying indoors. We had time to think, to reflect, to create and to understand our passion’s again,” he added.
“This collection is a tribute to our dreams and our desires, the things we have always wanted to do and never had the time to do them.
“The sunset hues of this collection represent the magical tones of dusk during this golden hour. It’s one of the most precious moments in a day before the night fully turns it to dark,” said Jahaverpour.
