Textron Aviation of the US will display for the first time in Europe its Cessna Citation Latitude, headlining a showcase of nine Beechcraft and Cessna business and general aviation aircraft at the annual European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (Ebace 2015).
Now in its 15th edition, Ebace will be held from May 19 to 21 at the Palexpo centre in Geneva, Switzerland.
Featuring the most expansive interior of any Citation jet, the Latitude provides customers with an advanced flight experience from cockpit to cabin while offering optimised acquisition and operating efficiencies.
The aircraft features a flat cabin floor and six feet (1.83 m) of cabin height, Garmin G5000 avionics, and two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW306D engines with auto-throttle capabilities.
Cessna’s Clairity cabin-technology system ties into the Citation Latitude’s advanced avionics center to provide connectivity and productivity to each passenger through their personal electronic devices.
“We attribute the continued success in Europe to the investments Textron Aviation is making in bringing new, technologically-advanced products to customers and to the versatility customers gain by having the broadest product range in general aviation,” said Kriya Shortt, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing.
Textron Aviation’s combined jet and turboprop fleet in the EMEA region has surpassed 2,800 aircraft and is enhanced by an extensive global service network.
In addition to the Citation Latitude debut, the Cessna Citation CJ3+ business jet will be displaying in Europe for the first time and features a new Garmin G3000 flight deck, enhanced interiors and advanced Clairity cabin connectivity.
A Cessna Grand Caravan EX will also be on display featuring all-new standard interiors that improve cabin comfort and functionality. The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) recently approved the Grand Caravan EX’s 14-place configuration, allowing the newest model of the Caravan family – celebrating 30 years of production this year – to offer higher density seating and greater operational capability for operators in European countries.
Other Textron Aviation aircraft planned for display at Ebace include Cessna’s Citation M2, Citation CJ4 and Citation XLS+ alongside Beechcraft’s King Air C90GTx, King Air 250 and Special Mission King Air 350ER.
Textron Aviation aircraft will be exhibited at the Palexpo static display area adjacent to the runway at Geneva International Airport and inside the exhibit hall at V029.
