Sales of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in Bahrain have risen by 40 per cent during the first quarter of the year, according to Euro Motors, the sole dealer for the ultra-luxury marque in the kingdom.
The success has been instigated by continuous popularity of the Rolls-Royce Wraith - the most powerful and dynamic Rolls-Royce in history, which remains in heavy demand by Rolls-Royce’s elite Bahraini clientele, it says.
This demand is expected to continue following the announcement that the new limited Rolls-Royce Wraith ‘Inspired by Film’ edition will arrive in Bahrain next month.
Featuring a unique two-tone ‘Silver’ and ‘Jubilee’ silver exterior, and intricate maccassar ebony open pore panelling in the interior, this bespoke Wraith celebrates the UK carmaker’s long heritage in film, with the pinnacle of automotive luxury taking leading roles in movies since the dawn of film-making.
The Ghost Series II also experienced strong growth during the first three months of this year, following its introduction to the market in October last year.
“We have seen large number of new and younger customers being drawn to the brand by Wraith, and existing customers complementing their Rolls-Royce portfolio by the acquisition of the new model. Furthermore, the launch of Ghost Series II has been an overwhelming success,” explains Paul Yates, General Manager of Euro Motors. “However, Rolls-Royce will never make the mistake of chasing volume; a Rolls-Royce is a rare precious item and must remain exceptional and exclusive.”
Commenting on the upcoming Wraith ‘Inspired by Film’ edition, Yates says: “This is a very apt collection car because the swept lines of the fastback body of Wraith, which signal its purposeful character, is a style whose origins can be found in the 1930s era of film noir. In addition, Wraith ‘Inspired by Film’ is a true hero car, hinting gently at the (film) noir through a number of unique Bespoke touches, that combine with the most powerful engine ever in a Rolls-Royce to create a unique collector’s piece.”
