Swiss luxury watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen has opened its first boutique in Qatar, in collaboration with its local retailer Al Majed Jewellery.
With the opening of the new boutique in Doha’s upscale Lagoona Mall, IWC Schaffhausen now has nine boutiques across the Middle East.
Karoline Huber, Brand Director of IWC Schaffhausen Middle East and India, comments: “The opening of our first boutique in Qatar underscores the importance of the Qatari market to our brand. We’re thrilled to finally be able to offer our customers in Qatar a destination where they can choose from an excellent range of IWC timepieces and experience our brand’s vivid universe.”
The timepieces on display include examples from the brand’s Portugieser collection, which recently celebrated its 75th anniversary. Building on the watch family’s rich heritage, and in keeping with its jubilee, the new Portugieser collection comes with a host of technological and design modifications as well as several new features.
Fitted with newly designed calibres while maintaining a sense of tradition, the Portugieser timepieces, along with the other collections on display, make a visit to the boutique an absolute must for the watch enthusiasts of Qatar, the manufacture says.
One of the world’s leading brands in the luxury watch segment, IWC crafts masterpieces of haute horlogerie at their finest, combining supreme precision with exclusive design.
