Luxury Swiss watchmaker Breitling has created a limited edition chronograph inspired by Bentley’s rarest and most dynamic member of the Continental family, the GT3-R.
Like the GT3-R, just 300 of these exclusive timepieces have been manufactured worldwide, with 42 allocated specifically to the Middle East to accompany the 42 GT3-R cars dedicated to the region.
The Breitling for Bentley GT3-R timepiece features the Bentley GT3-R logo on a black carbon dial and comes equipped with the knurled motif on the bezel, a nod to the famous Bentley radiator grilles. Additionally, in reference to the 300 Bentley Continental GT3-R cars, the mention one of 300 is engraved on the caseback of this model.
Taking its inspiration from the race-inspired car which was developed with Bentley Motorsport and hand-crafted in Crewe, the Breitling for Bentley GT3-R Limited Edition combines sporty aesthetics with an in-house manufacture Breitling Calibre B06 “motor”.
A specialist of technical watches, Breitling has played a crucial role in the development of the wrist chronograph and is a leader in this complication. The firm has shared all the finest moments in the conquest of the skies thanks to its sturdy, reliable and high-performance instruments.
One of the world's only major watch brands to equip all its models with chronometer-certified movements, the ultimate token of precision, Breitling is also one of the rare companies to produce its own mechanical chronograph movements, entirely developed and manufactured in its own workshops. This family business is also one of the last remaining independent Swiss watch brands.
