Italy’s CRN says it has successfully completed two key projects: the newbuild Atlante and the refitted Eight.
Both the 55-m Atlante and 46-m Eight have now left CRN’s shipyard in Anacona after being launched last May.
Atlante stands out for her very strong, unmistakable personality, says CRN, adding that the yacht (hull No. 134) has a “purposely strong stylistic identity which draws inspiration from elements typical of military craft”.
The yacht is the result of an “outstanding job” by design firm Nuvolari Lenard, which conceived its outer lines, and CRN’s Engineering Department, which was in charge of naval engineering.
At 55 m long and 11 m wide, the megayacht develops over four decks.
Meanwhile, the 46-m Eight, described as “another wonderful CRN jewel”, was the first refit of a CRN yacht and marked “the first tangible step towards a new development path”, according to the yacht builder.
Eight’s distinctive features are sobriety and style, streamlined and elegant lines, airy spaces and very refined interiors, which have been totally reshaped and rebuilt.
The megayacht was designed by CRN’s Engineering Department in co-operation with the Nuvolari Lenard, which conceived her outer lines.
Atlante will be presented at the forthcoming 25th Monaco Yacht Show (September 23-26, 2015) together with two other CRN megayachts, the 61-m Saramour and 73-m Yalla.
Established in 1963 in Ancona, CRN specialises in the design and construction of fully custom, steel and aluminium megayachts up to 90 m in length. All CRN’s yachts – of which more than 180 are currently in the water - are built in Anacona, besides some aluminium models for other brands of the Ferretti Group, which CRN belongs to.
