DC Aviation Group, the parent of the UAE-based DC Aviation Al-Futtaim (DCAF), has added a Bombardier Challenger 300 to its fleet of managed aircraft.
In addition to short-range, medium-range, and long-range jets from well-known manufacturers such as Cessna, Falcon Dassault, Gulfstream, and Airbus, DC Aviation now operates nine business jets from Bombardier.
DC Aviation’s CEO Michael Kuhn says: “We are very pleased to be able to expand our aircraft managed fleet with the addition of the Challenger 300. This latest addition is an indication of the growing interest from our VIP customers in our experience in managing their private and commercial aircraft and is also further testament of the trust placed in us by to provide maximum safety and unsurpassed quality.”
DCAF General Manager Holger Ostheimer says: “The addition of the latest aircraft to the DC Aviation managed fleet blends perfectly with the group’s overall growth strategy.”
The Challenger 300 is a medium-size business-travel airplane that can comfortably accommodate up to eight passengers. Developed for transcontinental distances, it has a range of about 3,100 nm. Passengers and operators alike appreciate the Challenger as a reliable aircraft with variable deployability.
DCAF is a joint venture between Dubai-headquartered Al-Futtaim and Germany’s DC Aviation, one of the leading European business jet operators.
The joint venture capitalises on Al-Futtaim's strong fundamentals and presence in the Middle East, and DC Aviation’s global reputation as a premium provider of aircraft management, executive charter operations, business jet maintenance and consultation services.
DCAF is the first operation to open a hangar and lounge facility at Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai South (formerly known as Dubai World Central).
