Cadillac’s new XT5 crossover will have its global launch in Dubai, UAE, in November, just ahead of the Dubai International Motor Show.
The next generation XT5 is built on new technologies and offers new safety systems, said Felix Weller, regional director, sales and marketing, Cadillac.
Speaking to Arabian Knight on the sidelines of the Middle East launch of CTS-V and ATS-V cars in Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi, he said the XT5 will be unveiled at an exclusive event in the Dubai Design District.
“We are thrilled to host the global launch of what promises to be the cornerstone model of Cadillac’s future portfolio,” says Weller. “Dubai is the perfect location to signal Cadillac’s global intent with a new product launch outside of the US.”
Cadillac has teamed up with Public School New York, a clothing fashion company, to premiere the new XT5.
Public School will debut its pre-fall collection in Dubai, in collaboration with the launch of the Cadillac XT5. It will create an XT5-inspired capsule collection for the event.
Cadillac has already released the first official pictures of the all black XT5.
The XT5 will make its first North American appearance at the Los Angeles Auto Show later in November and the vehicles are expected to arrive in showrooms by the second quarter of 2016.
"The first-ever XT5 crossover was crafted to help you outsmart whatever task you have at hand. Its flexible interior is filled with advanced features to help keep you comfortable and connected, while the chiseled exterior lines make a striking statement. A thoroughly progressive vehicle both inside and out, the XT5 was designed to accommodate your needs, while expressing your distinctive sense of style," says a statement on Cadillac website.
The Dubai International Motor Show runs from November 10 to 14 at the Dubai World Trade Centre and the XT5 will be showcased at the event following the premiere.
