Montblanc has opened a new boutique in Abu Dhabi, UAE, featuring the largest ranges of its men’s and women’s accessories.
Located at Yas Mall, the new boutique is the luxury maison’s largest in the emirate and the first to display the brand’s distinctive new black glass exterior.
Located on the ground floor of the Luxury Court and managed by Montblanc’s partner The Rivoli Group, the 150-sq-m boutique showcases Montblanc’s iconic writing instruments as well as its latest timepieces, fine jewellery for men and women, and leather goods.
The boutique houses a wide selection of the Maison’s foundational writing instruments, ranging from the sleek new Marc Newson inspired Montblanc M, to the latest in the Writers Collection, the Leo Tolstoy edition. The Samsung compatible e-Starwalker writing instrument and Pix Pen are also available for those not wanting to compensate quality for technology. Montblanc timepieces crafted in the finest Swiss watchmaking traditions further demonstrate the passion for perfection and pioneering spirit inherent in the Montblanc DNA.
The boutique also features the latest leather collections hand manufactured in the maison’s very own pelletteria in Florence, Italy. Each individual piece in the Meisterstück Sfumato Collection is a masterfully crafted, created using a painting technique developed by Leonardo Da Vinci during the Renaissance. Alongside it, the Sartorial Collection combines tradition and contemporary elegance in a range of small and large every day accessories to meet the wide ranging needs of today’s traveller.
Eric Vergnes, President of Montblanc Middle East, India & Africa, says: “We are delighted to be launching the newest and largest Montblanc boutique in the UAE’s capital, and to be doing so with our Rivoli Group partner. Yas Mall offers an exceptional and exclusive retail environment for Montblanc – not only are we able to serve our loyal and discerning Abu Dhabi clientele, but also the strong mix of international tourists visiting the attractions on Yas Island. And because of its excellent location, we know that residents of the other UAE emirates will also enjoy the ease of visiting and shopping at this premium destination.”
Ramesh Prabhakar, CEO of Rivoli Group, says: “The UAE is fast becoming a global centre for luxury, aided by the growing presence of luxury brands like Montblanc. We are delighted to be opening the maison’s newest boutique in the Middle East, and with the longstanding experience that the Rivoli Group brings to the partnership, we are confident of its success.”
