Embraer Executives Jets has celebrated the delivery of the 300th Phenom 300 business jet, an aircraft that has redefined the light-jet segment.
The aircraft was accepted by an undisclosed US customer at Embraer’s facility in Melbourne, Florida, recently.
The Phenom 300 has been the most-delivered business jet in the world for two consecutive years (2013 and 2014).
“The milestone delivery confirms the outstanding reception the Phenom 300 has received globally and is an eloquent testament to the aircraft,” the company says.
Embraer’s drive for customer satisfaction and the cutting-edge design and performance of its products continues to draw new operators and enhance customers’ loyalty, it adds.
The aircraft is in operation in 28 countries and has accumulated over 250,000 flight hours. In six years of operation, the Phenom 300 fleet has reached a 57 per cent market share in the light-jet category, the company says.
The Phenom 300 performs a high speed cruise of 453 knots and a six-occupant range of 1,971 nautical miles (3,650 km). This range allows nonstop flights from Miami to Telluride, or Los Angeles to Orlando.
The aircraft is capable of flying at 45,000 ft (13,716 m), powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW535E engines with 3,200 pounds of thrust each.
The Phenom 300 offers a spacious cabin, designed in partnership with BMW Designworks US, and the largest baggage compartment in its category.
The largest windows in the class deliver abundant natural lighting in the cabin as well as in the private lavatory in the back of the aircraft.
The Phenom 300 features distinct temperature zones for pilots and passengers, a wardrobe and refreshment centre, voice and data communications options, and an entertainment system.
