Chopard takes centre-stage


Along with the tinsel world glitterati who throng the various film festivals, openings and award ceremonies around the world, Chopard took centre-stage with its haute jewellery collection.

Chinese a caratress Fan Bingbing attended the premiere of I Am Not Madame Bovary at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival wearing jewellery by Chopard. 

She selected to wear earrings featuring 17.41-carats of diamonds set in 18 carat white gold, a ring featuring 6.55-carats of diamonds set in 18 carat white gold and a ring featuring 6.06-carats of diamonds set in 18 carat white gold, all from the “High Jewelry Collection.”

French actress Lea Seydoux attended the premiere of It’s Only The End Of The World at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival wearing diamond earrings featuring 7.05-carats of diamonds set in 18 carat white gold from the “High Jewelry Collection” and three rings featuring 1.81-carats of diamonds set in 18 carat white gold from the “L’Heure Du Diamant Collection.”  

Chopard celebrated the cinema as the partner of the gala dinner in honour of the 70th anniversary of the Cannes Film Festival. In the prestigious setting of the Ecole Supérieure Nationale des Beaux Arts, 300 guests had the chance to savour delicious dishes prepared by chef Bruno Oger.

Chopard co-President and Artistic Director Caroline Scheufele, joined Pierre Lescure and Thierry Frémaux to celebrate this special anniversary. Chopard will also celebrate in 2017 the 20th anniversary of its official partnership with Cannes Film Festival.

Friends of the House, French actress Isabelle Huppert, Juliette Binoche et Léa Seydoux chose Chopard jewellery.

Isabelle Huppert selected a pair of 18 carat white gold earrings set with two princess-cut diamonds (3 carats each) and diamonds, a 18 carat yellow gold ring set with an oval-shaped fancy intense yellow diamond of 3.65 carats, two half-moon shaped diamonds and white and yellow brilliant-cut diamonds. All from the Haute Joaillerie collection.

Juliette Binoche shone with a pair of diamond hoops in 18 carat white gold, a 18 carat white gold bangle set with diamonds (12 carats), a 18 carat white gold bracelet set with diamonds (4.64 carats) from the Haute Joaillerie collection as well as a 18 carat white gold ring set with diamonds (5.8 carats) from L’Heure du Diamant collection.

Léa Seydoux sparkled with a pair of 18 carat white gold earrings set with two pear-shaped tourmalines (5.46 carats) and diamonds from the Temptations collection and a 18 carat rose gold ring designed as a butterfly set with tourmalines (16 carats), marquise-cut pink sapphire (2.53 carats) and diamonds from the Haute Joaillerie collection.

American actress Robin Wright selected an 18 carat white gold bracelet featuring diamonds (44.5 carats) from the “High Jewelry Collection,” and two bracelets in 18 carat white gold set with diamond (7.3 carats) from the “L’Heure Du Diamant Collection” at the 2016 Primetime Emmy Awards and at the Singapore Grand Prix opening ceremony Australian singer Kylie Minogue selected an 18 carat white gold necklace featuring diamonds (1.59 carats) and a pair of earrings in 18 carat white gold set with diamond (6.4 carats) both from the “Happy Diamonds Collection”.
