Bovet extends 19Thirty collection

Swiss luxury watch brand Bovet has extended its 19Thirty collection with a new model in red gold.

Inspired by one of the last pocket watches manufactured by Bovet before the era of the wristwatch, the 19Thirty collection has inherited the harmony and numerous stylistic details of the ‘easel’ chronometer patented in 1930, which in itself symbolises the transition to the wristwatch.

Presented in the spring of 2015 in steel, the collection was an instant success, without doubt owing principally to the movement developed specifically for 19Thirty. Its execution and finishes are of exceptional quality, following criteria identical to those used for grandes complications, and it features a seven-day power reserve drawn from a single barrel. The collector can choose from three colours of dial and three types of numerals (Arabic, Chinese and Roman) which provide a plethora of combinations.

The impact of the collection and the enthusiasm of collectors have inspired the brand to manufacture the 19Thirty in a red gold case.

Again, it is available in three different dial colours – black, blue and brown – but this time the dials are decorated with a noble sunray guillochage. The timepiece once more offers a choice of three types of numeral.

To complete this abundance of possibilities, each collector can opt for a diamond set bezel and bow if desired.

The extraordinary ergonomics of the 19Thirty collection – with its case a mere 9 mm thick for a diameter of 42 mm, its exemplary chronometry, its reliability and its autonomy of seven days – make it an exceptional timepiece, says Bovet.

Classic and timeless, it can be worn every day, transforming every second into a moment of grace, the brand says.
