Oceanco, Heesen Yachts and Sanlorenzo were winners at the Monaco Yacht Show Awards

Three very special yachts made waves at the 2017 Monaco Yacht Show (MYS).

Oceanco’s 110-m megayacht Jubilee sailed away with two trophies at the fourth Monaco Yacht Show Awards, the inaugural gala held ahead of the 2017 Monaco Yacht Show.

The largest yacht to ever attend the Monaco Yacht Show, Jubilee was awarded the MYS 2017 Exterior Design Award as well as the MYS 2017 Finest New Superyacht Award at the event, which was attended by 400 guests from across the superyacht industry.

Captain Roy Dance, on behalf of the owner, Paris Baloumis, Group Marketing Manager at Oceanco, Rupert Nelson, Director at Burgess and the Owner’s Representative, Igor Lobanov (Exterior Designer) and Sam Sorgiovanni (Interior Designer) received the trophies for Jubilee.

Another winner was the 52-m charter yacht Seven Sins from Sanlorenzo, which won the Interior Design Award, rewarded for the finest and most state-of-the-art interior designs of the winning superyacht.

Designed by Officina Italiana Design Sanlorenzo, Seven Sins combines refined elegance with the latest technical innovation in only 500 tonnes. Sanlorenzo’s new flagship made its world debut at the show, highlighting the Italian yard’s experience in luxury yacht builds.

A third winner was the 50-m superyacht Home, which picked up an award for the most environment-friendly luxury yacht. The Monaco Yacht Show/Rina Award honours the superyacht displayed at the MYS whose construction complied with the environmental standards established by the Italian classification company.

Heesen Yachts CEO Arthur Brouwer and Perry Van Oossanen, naval architect of Home, received the trophy from Rina President and CEO Ugo Salerno.
