The Oberoi Group, a global chain of premium five-star hotels, will open three luxury hotels next year - in Ajman, UAE; Marrakech, Morocco; and Chandigarh, India.
The luxury hotels will be located in natural environments and will offer The Oberoi Group’s impeccable standards of luxury and service, said the group in a statement made at the International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) in Cannes, France.
The Oberoi, Al Zorah, Ajman, located 30 minutes from Dubai airport, is a luxury eco-destination with a beautiful long beachfront, azure lagoons and lush mangroves.
Nestled within 247 acres of forest, Al Zorah boasts exceptional biodiversity. It also offers a championship golf course by Nicklaus Design, and kayaking.
The Oberoi, Al Zorah has an ultra-modern layout that harmonises with the natural environment. The 113 villas, suites and penthouse are elegant and modern with an abundance of natural light and breathtaking sea views. The spacious and luxuriously appointed rooms will all have private balconies, while the villas and suites offer terraces and temperature-controlled private pools.
The spa offers signature therapies, hammam, a 50- metre pool, a fully equipped gymnasium, and daycare facilities for families. Indoor, al–fresco and beachside dining venues serve the finest cuisine.
Located 20 minutes south of the city centre, The Oberoi, Marrakech is nestled within 25 acres of fragrant citrus orchards, ancient olive groves, and offers breathtaking views of the magnificent Atlas Mountains.
The resort has 77 villas each with a private temperature controlled pool set in the privacy of a beautifully landscaped garden.
In addition to the villas, there are six Deluxe Rooms and a Presidential Suite with Private Pool located in the main building of the hotel with its magnificent and opulent Moroccan architecture.
The spa occupies a private island on a lake within the resort. Therapies include Moroccan hammams and Ayurveda in addition to daily yoga classes.
The spa also has a temperature-controlled indoor swimming pool besides a large pool set in the lush gardens of the resort with views of the Atlas Mountains.
There is a fully equipped fitness centre within the resort. Three restaurants and a bar serve the finest intentional cuisines and beverages.
Surrounded by over 8,000 acres of protected natural forest, The Oberoi Sukhvilas is a luxury spa resort with traditional Indian pavilions, aesthetically landscaped courtyards and chic, modern design elements based in Chandigarh.
The resort’s 60 spacious villas, rooms and tents, refreshed with forest views and filled with soft, natural light, epitomise luxury. Exquisitely adorned, with handcrafted design features, all rooms and villas are equipped with the most modern technologies. Villas and Luxury Tents offer private, temperature-controlled pools.
The spa occupies a secluded space surrounded by forest on three sides. It offers massage therapies, Ayurveda, hydrotherapies, a steam, an ultraviolet sauna, a Turkish hammam, and a Roman tepidarium.
Indoor and al fresco dining venues serve the finest international cuisines. The Oberoi Sukhvilas is just 30 minutes from Chandigarh city centre.
Kapil Chopra, President, The Oberoi Group, said: “We are pleased to announce the opening of three new luxury hotels in 2016. Each hotel with its distinctive architecture and luxurious interiors gives the hotel a sense of place in keeping with the destination. We will ensure guest at these hotels receive legendary and personalised Oberoi service”.
Chopra added: “Recognising the growing global demand of luxury accommodation, the addition of luxury properties in key regions will fortify the Group’s global footprint. Our strategy of creating partnerships and focusing on the best locations has been a key element of our expansion. We will continue to grow by associating with the right partners at locations across the globe”.
Earlier this year, the group announced two new properties in Qatar – a 250-key luxury hotel in the West Bay area of Doha, and a 148-key luxury serviced apartment located in Lusail, Doha.
