Comlux The Aviation Group, a leading provider of worldwide VIP aviation services based in Switzerland, said its completion and service center in Indianapolis, US, has obtained the top-of-the-line qualifications to provide complete maintenance and repair services to Airbus Corporate Jet (ACJ), Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) and Bombardier Business Aircraft customers.
The Comlux America had earlier this month been named by ACJ as the authorised service centre for its fleet worldwide.
This is a huge accomplishment for the Swiss company as Comlux America is the world's first fully independent ACJ authorised service centre which can provide maintenance services from A to C checks.
Comlux America had, in October, won the certification from BBJ to become its authorised warranty repair facility and service centre.
This contract allows Comlux America to perform warranty work on BBJ aircraft on behalf of Boeing, providing BBJ operators another service option in the US. Additionally, Comlux America will also provide other maintenance, repair and overhaul services as per requirements.
Since 2009, Comlux America has been an authorized service facility (ASF) for Bombardier. In October 2015, Comlux America renewed their ASF agreement with Bombardier for an additional five years which further reiterates Comlux’s commitment to its Bombardier customers.
In addition to BBJs and ACJs, the services division of Comlux specialises in everything from Bombardier, Learjet to Challenger and Global aircraft and has already performed a range of major checks and repairs.
On its achievement, Arnaud Martin, the executive VP (Operation) Comlux Group said: "The services division of Comlux America has been gearing up to provide our customers with new services approved by the major manufacturers."
“We aim to protect the value of the assets of our customers by performing quality maintenance and repair work in accordance with the manufacturer best practices. Definitively, our goal is to become one of the leading centers of excellence for VIP aircraft services worldwide,” he added.
Comlux Group is a specialist in VIP aviation services including aircraft management, VIP charter, aircraft sales and acquisitions, aircraft cabin designs and completions, aircraft engineering service, aircraft maintenance, refurbishments and system upgrades.
In parallel to its maintenance and repair services activities, Comlux America is also providing state-of-the-art cabin completions for all OEMs (original equipment manufacturers), said the company in a statement.
The company has recently developed its capabilities with the extension of the hangar facilities to accommodate wide body aircraft, it added.
