Comlux The Aviation Group has promoted Frederic Dubant as Executive Vice President Commercial of the Comlux Group.
“With the appointment of Frederic, Comlux is consolidating the commercial activities of our company at the Group level. Our objective is to serve our clients globally and to create synergies between the different businesses of the Group. After 7 years within the Top Management of our company, Frederic has demonstrated that he is the right person to lead our sales activities and he has my full support,” says President & CEO Richard Gaona.
Dubant stated: “I am excited to take on this new challenge in my career at Comlux. We already have a great sales team and my goal is to work with them to strengthen our expertise in the VIP aviation market and to develop our business in aircraft sales & management, cabin completions and maintenance services.”
In his previous role at Comlux as Senior Vice President Contracts & Legal, Frederic Dubant was already involved in all the commercial activities of the Group from aircraft transactions, to aircraft management, charter sales, cabin completions, refurbishments and maintenance. As part of his duties, he has been an active Board Member of Comlux since 2009.
Before joining Comlux in 2009, Frederic occupied various functions in the aviation industry, in particular 11 years with Airbus SAS, the aircraft manufacturer, where he successively held positions as Legal Counsel Procurement, Senior Legal Counsel Corporate and Senior Legal Counsel Aircraft Sales. In his most recent position prior to becoming EVP of Commercial, Frederic was responsible for all legal matters regarding the sale of Airbus aircraft worldwide.
