Airbus Corporate Jet Centre (ACJC) has revealed a new versatile ACJ319 cabin concept, which combines modernity, audacity and high-end technologies.
Led by Sylvain Mariat, ACJC’s Creative Design Studio designed the VIP ACJ319 cabin interior, named Kaolin, giving priority to space, brightness and elegance through curved-lines and white tones.
“With this interior we want to offer the perfect balance between modernity, originality and fluidity to match customers’ expectations and lifestyles,” says Mariat.
Certificated for 19 passengers, the Kaolin concept features a large crew-rest zone with five seats, a dining area including club-four and a club-two seating, followed by a large lounge area with a cosy majlis meeting area. Then the cabin interior proposes an original VIP zone with six individual mini-suites, and finally a master bedroom with a club-seat integrated into the side-ledge, plus an en-suite bathroom.
This unrivalled configuration provides the different cabin functionalities that a customer would expect; namely a public zone for meeting and dinner, and a private zone. The VIP area is the perfect answer with its six individual suites, fully equipped with the latest technologies, convertible seats and dedicated storage. “By creating curved-line mini-suites, our objective was to create aestheticism which optimizes the living space,” explains Mariat. “The integration of a cylindrical sliding bar and evolutive, clover-shaped, low table in the lounge area strengthened this wish.”
Incorporating state-of-the art materials such as American White-Oak wood, an 18-karat white-gold bathroom sink with hammered impression and, the most original, an alveolar Limoges porcelain bathroom floor mixing white and mirror effect pieces to enhance subtle light fluctuations, the interior combines quality and audacity.
Kaolin also includes the latest high-end IFE and connectivity technologies such as Ka-band, and full high-definition (HD) audio and video on demand (AVOD).
ACJC) offers an unrivalled agility to provide customised solutions to Airbus standards. Its range of expertise initially included VIP cabin completions and comprehensive maintenance services, as well as high-end system upgrade solutions for business & private customers, and now extends to the finest product developments for premium airlines.
With around 205 employees in Toulouse, France, ACJC has successfully completed more than 30 VIP cabins for Airbus corporate jet aircraft worldwide. It now also deals with world-class airlines with Airbus single-aisle and long-range families, including the A350 and A380.
ACJC is exhibiting at the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (Ebace), currently under way in Geneva, Switzerland.
