German automaker Porsche is offering a luxuriously equipped special edition of the Panamera which will be limited to just 100 cars worldwide.
Finished in the Porsche Exclusive factory, the Porsche Panamera Exclusive Series is based on the Panamera Turbo S Executive, the 570 hp top-end version of the grand tourer with a long wheelbase and very generously proportioned rear passenger space.
The series will feature two-tone graduated paintwork for the very first time with deep black giving way to chestnut brown below the door handles, which runs along the lines of the car to the rear.
Every car is being painted by hand in order to ensure the colours blend harmoniously.
The interior is also very elegantly finished. All of the seats and lower door panels are covered in Poltrona Frau leather in the prestigious Italian brand's Agatha Chestnut Brown colour.
In order to facilitate ventilation, the seats’ centre panels are perforated in the form of the Porsche crest. The upper door trim is in black milled nappa leather. Chestnut brown stitching in selected places create contrasting touches.
Inspired by the two-tone exterior, the decorative interior trim elements also feature a blend of colours: a transition to the rear from classic walnut burl wood into a deep black piano lacquer surface.
Porsche’s newly developed Rear Seat Entertainment System Plus makes its debut on this series.
It consists of two high-resolution 10.1-inch touchscreens in the back with built-in camera and integrated DVD player. The system facilitates business and entertainment functions, in combination with mobile Internet access. The sound is played out either via cordless headphones or the Burmester high-end surround sound system.
In the interior of every vehicle is a tag showing its individual limited edition number. On the outside hand-made badges behind the front air intakes show that the vehicle originates from the Porsche Exclusive factory.
As an optional extra, Porsche is offering a five-piece luggage set made of Poltrona Frau leather and featuring both perforations in the shape of the Porsche crest and Exclusive Series embossing.
The Porsche Panamera Exclusive Series is now available to order and costs €249,877 ($310,574), including value added tax and country-specific features.
The limited series is available only as a left-hand drive car.
Since its formation in 1986, Porsche Exclusive limited editions have repeatedly showcased new design ideas and what is technically achievable. Completed by hand in the factory, every vehicle underlines the manufacturer's craftsmanship and passion for detail.
The world premiere of this special Panamera takes place at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show, which will be held from November 21 to 30 in Los Angeles, US.
