The Breitling Endurance Pro, previously available exclusively as a 44 mm model, now comes in a universal 38 mm size with five colourful executions.
It is a multi-tasking watch that combines the best qualities of the brand’s technical and lifestyle collections.
Positioned in the Professional range, it is up to the challenges of a rigorous workout but also serves as a vibrant fashion statement for men and women, making it the ultimate athleisure watch, says Breitling.
To celebrate the launch, Breitling is welcoming two new members to its Triathlon Squad: reigning IRONMAN Women’s World Champion Lucy Charles-Barclay and Sam Laidlow, the youngest male winner in IRONMAN history. These exceptional sportspeople join multi-title-holding triathletes Jan Frodeno and Daniela Ryf on Breitling’s crew of pros who know that holding and defending titles demands a watch as tough as their races.
“This is a watch that was built to swim, bike, run, and keep up with you no matter the intensity of your workout—plus, it looks great as a casual sports chronograph,” says Breitling CEO Georges Kern. “This new size makes it accessible to an even wider range of wearers.”
Endurance Pro: Revival of the Fittest
With its ultralightweight case and comfortable, form-fitting rubber strap, the Endurance Pro is designed to appeal to committed athletes and casual sports enthusiasts alike. It’s made of Breitlight, a robust material three times lighter than titanium and nearly six times lighter than stainless steel. The material is also nonmagnetic, thermally stable, hypoallergenic, and highly resistant to scratches, traction, and corrosion.
On the new 38 mm Endurance Pro models, straps and crowns are colored to match the inner bezel rings in a choice of five hues: purple, pink, white, light blue, or red. Meanwhile, the existing 44 mm Endurance Pro is also getting a refreshed treatment with a new streamlined rubber strap in navy, orange, white, and light-blue colorways. On both sizes, the hands and oversized numerals are coated with Super LumiNova for easy reading in low light.
Like all watches in Breitling’s Professional range, the Endurance Pro is powered by a thermocompensated SuperQuartz movement, a technology that is 10 times more accurate than conventional quartz. The 44 mm model contains the Breitling Caliber 82, and the 38 mm size is powered by slightly smaller Caliber 83. Both are COSC-certified chronometers designed to deliver exceptional precision.
Breitling’s Ultralight Watch Heritage
The Endurance Pro is the modern evolution of the Breitling Sprint, introduced in the 1970s as a performance chronograph for the era’s fashion-conscious athletes. Its lightweight resin case and heart-rate-monitoring pulsometer scale made it ideal for sports, the chronograph gave it professional tool-watch status, and its vibrant colors provided the ’70s dayglo cool.
Built for competition, the modern Endurance Pro retains these elements. It’s water-resistant to 10 bar (100 meters) and has a tactile rubberized crown for excellent grip and maneuverability. It can time intervals to 1/10th of a second, take the pulse of an athlete, and keep competitors on the right track with its solar compass. Like the Sprint before it, the Endurance Pro does it all in style and vivid colour.
