A new Hilton hotel in the heart of Makkah boasting the city’s largest ballroom and convention centre opened yesterday.

The Hilton Makkah Convention Hotel, which overlooks the Al Masjid Al Haram, offers 764 contemporary rooms with large modern walk-in showers, including 90 executive rooms, 25 executive suites and 16 suites. Guests will also have access to the 24-hour fitness centre featuring state-of-the-art equipment.

The property has the largest pillarless ballroom in Makkah, which can accommodate up to 1,600 people, joined by an additional eight multi-purpose meeting and boardrooms. 

The hotel has restaurants include the all-day dining Al Mustafa international restaurant, Azure, serving Indian and Malaysian cuisine, Sahtein, serving Lebanese food, and the Al Multaqa Café.  

Guests will also have access to a 24-hour fitness centre featuring the state-of-the-art equipment.
