Bugatti has delivered the first Chiron to a customer in the US, showing off the $3-million supercar at the 2017 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California.
The first US Chiron has an eye-catching yellow and black colour scheme – the front of the car is painted in bright yellow and the rear in Nocturne Black.
The car’s wheels, the horseshoe emblem and the trim of the side line are also painted yellow.
The distinctive two-tone scheme continues inside the car. Yellow leather is used on the insides of the seats, the armrest on the centre console, the door trims and the C-shaped dividing line in the passenger compartment in contrast to the rest of the interior, which features Beluga Black leather.
Following Europe, North America is the second most important sales market for the French luxury carmaker. Almost 30 per cent of all the orders received for the Chiron come from this region. The price in the US is around $3 million including shipping, duties, taxes and charges.
The Chiron is limited to 500 vehicles and more than half of the series has already been sold throughout the world. The 1,500-hp hypercar has a top speed of 260 mph.
The 2017 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, which is being held today, concludes the Monterey Car Week.
