Bulgari’s latest perfume for women is described as a new jewel “born from the wonders of the Mediterranean sea”.
Called Aqva Divinia, the eau de toilette adds to the very successful Aqva line for men which includes Aqva Homme and Aqva Amari.
“In a constant game of mirrors, olfactory and aesthetic languages complement each other: precious stones and fragrances become contemporary talismans, which stimulate memory like a print left on the skin,” says a Bulgari statement. “Embodying the harmony of nature’s treasures, Aqva Divina is revealed as a precious pearl in a shell.”
The new perfume “draws the outline of a powerful femininity, the charisma of a profoundly free and radiant woman who has the sparkle of youth and beauty”.
Bulgari’s advertising campaign for the new perfume features model Magdalena Frackowiak, who “interprets an icon of seduction embodying natural sensuality emerging from the waves”.
She has a solar grace like the sun’s reflection on the sea, says Bulgari.
The new campaign – shot by Mark Segal – evokes the fragrance’s divine inspiration and its essence as precious as a gem on naked skin.
It reflects Bulgari’s entire universe – jeweler, perfumer, and creator of imaginary worlds – thus enhancing its profound inclination for all that celebrates the beauty of the world, the luxury brand says.
Master perfumer Alberto Morillas has created the eau de toilette with a singular signature for which he plunged into his childhood memories on the shores of the Mediterranean.
He has envisioned a ‘‘salty flower’’, a floral and solar scent evoking a sun-kissed skin emerging from salty water radiating a sensual perfume which celebrate the sea, the sun and summer.
The jewel-bottle of Aqva Divina pays tribute to a new solar gem born from the wonders of the sea and his interpretation of divine beauty. Everything about sea-shells – the softness of their texture, their kaleidoscopic colour palette - evokes the quintessence of femininity. The glamour and the softness of the Aqva Divina round bottle recall the pebbles on the beach polished by the sea.
Bulgari has also launched a new advertising campaign for its Aqva Homme and Aqva Amari fragrances for men featuring the unmistakable charisma of model Jon Kortajarena.
The new visuals express the handsome virility of a sun-kissed Greek hero. A man in his element, who thrives to strengthen the sacred bond between Man and Nature, his primordial tie with sea – the revitalising, powerful Mediterranean, says the house.
Aqva Divinia comes in 25, 40 and 65 ml bottles as well as a bath line that includes bath and shower gel and body lotion.
