Gulfstream Aerospace Corp of the US has appointed Amy Ariano as Vice President, Human Resources. Ariano reports to Ira Berman, senior vice president, Administration and General Counsel, Gulfstream.
In her new role, Ariano will lead Gulfstream’s Human Resources organisation with responsibility for all aspects of the employment, recruitment, development, engagement and retention of Gulfstream’s workforce.
“I am pleased to welcome Amy to the Gulfstream family,” said Berman. “With her 20 years of experience leading teams around the world and working across departments to recruit and develop the talent needed to drive a large-scale business, Amy’s leadership will bolster the continued success of our world-class employees and the programmes that support them.”
Before joining Gulfstream, Ariano was Vice President, Human Resources – Private Brands and Commercial Foods, for ConAgra Foods Inc, in Omaha, Nebraska, where she led human resources for two business segments with a combination of domestic and international employees. Before that, she worked in a series of roles with ConAgra, including vice president of Human Resources Integration and vice president of Corporate Human Resources. Prior to ConAgra, Ariano held a number of human resources positions at SPX Corp., a global multi- industry manufacturer.
Ariano earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Michigan in Flint and a master’s degree in training and organizational development from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. She serves on the executive planning committee for Go Red for Women, an American Heart Association initiative.
