Richard Mille’s new boutique in Paris is sure to find favour with Arabian Ladies - and Knights - who enjoy shopping in the French capital.
The Swiss brand has chosen to pay tribute to its female clientele by opening a new boutique in the heart of one of Paris’ finest and most prestigious avenues, renowned for its many art galleries, elegant cafés and luxury boutiques.
Peter Harrison, CEO of Richard Mille Europe Middle East and Africa, comments: “We are delighted to be opening our new boutique in Avenue Matignon, a location that is internationally renowned for luxury, creativity and architectural refinement. The brand continues to grow and this is the perfect time to enlarge our Paris premises. This boutique is the biggest to date in Europe and will present our clients space in which to fully experience the brand in a relaxed environment.”
17 Avenue Matignon will thus become the home of a new 200-sq-m Richard Mille boutique imbued with “cosy, voluptuous refinement”.
In this fine watchmaking gallery designed by Mélanie Monceyron, the power, resilience and technical performance more usually associated with watches overflow into the boutique’s very design, creating the perfect showcase for the beauty of women and the brand’s watches, says the manufacture.
Here, says Richard Mille, everything fuses to create an ambience of mellow reverie and passion: the curved lines of the ceilings and walls contrast with the cold hardness of metal, the Macassar ebony display cases are suspended over broken glass, and the cold lighting of the watch area dialogues with the soft, oblique light of engraved glass and warm wood.
This subtle interplay culminates in the private salon, where the silky softness of atelier Sophie Mallebranche’s cream metal perfectly complements the walls of the magnificent cellar and a rare cigar collection, giving the visitor the “exquisite feeling of being utterly at home”.
This rich collection of contrasts enhances the presentation of 40 men’s and women’s models, from sports watches and high-performance timepieces to the new women’s collection and limited editions.
Located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris and a mere hop from the Champs Elysées, the new Richard Mille boutique will be open from Monday to Saturday, from 10.30 am to 7.00 pm.
