ME Dubai, the only hotel in the Middle East to be fully designed both inside and out by Dame Zaha Hadid, has partnered with bespoke British tailor Ascots & Chapels to launch an extravagant million-dirham ($272,000) suite package.
This ultra-luxe collaboration is designed for the region’s aesthetes and includes what is believed to be the GCC’s most expensive suit.
Designed for the elite, this exclusive package includes an interactive tailoring experience with a skilled master tailor, where guests will receive a three-piece tailored suit by luxury couturier Ascots& Chapels. The one-of-a-kind suit is made from16.5 micron superfine 180s Tasmanian Merino wool woven with 24k gold thread.
During the tailoring experience, guests will have a choice of six exquisite fabrics to select from along with a meeting with the master cutter from Mayfair London and an experienced design consultant to discuss preferences and design. The made-to-fit suit will be completely hand-stitched in a process that takes 200 man-hours.
As a tribute to the wearer, the suit will also be personalized with the wearer’s signature or initials, inscribed in 24-carat gold thread, and as a final gesture, delivered in a Patina leather suit bag. In honour of this one-of-a-kind creation, a family of trees will be planted in Ascots& Chapels’ grove in the Caledonian Highlands in Scotland, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to a greener environment. The fabric is also insured.
This lavish tailoring affair is paired with the full run of ME Dubai, with a ‘super VVIP status’, revolving around an extravagant, no expenses spared, seven-night stay in the hotel’s two-bedroom Suite ME. During their stay, guests will enjoy unlimited access across each of the hotel’s innovative F&B concepts, seven days of vintage Dom Perignon Oenotheque and a curated dinner by award-winning Chef James Knight-Pacheco featuring Iranian Royal Beluga Caviar prepared 12 ways. As an extra touch, the package is supplemented with a ‘surprise’ collector’s watch worth AED350,000 by Ahmed Siddique & Sons.
Suitably attired, guests will have a choice of seven hypercars including a Bugatti, Lamborghini and an Aston Martin, in order to explore the Emirates in exhilarating, unparalleled style. And as a final touch, each will be given AED50,000 of credit to spend at the hottest venues in the city, including Zuma, Nammos, La Petite Maison, Cipriani and SAL at the Burj Al Arab.
