Luxury house Montblanc has expanded its range of leather goods with the launch of a backpack which features four new designs in three different materials.
Created for the modern trailblazer who always seeks to explore new horizons, push boundaries, and challenge the status quo, each backpack combines elegant aesthetics with highly functional designs, the maison says.
The offerings include the Meisterstück Soft Grain, Montblanc Extreme and Montblanc Signature Black backpacks.
From the sophisticated to the more casual, these fine leather companions accompany the urban explorer on his daily adventures.
Striving to offer the most functional designs and recognising the importance of technology to the modern-day explorer, each backpack features a padded pocket to safely carry a laptop. Additional zipped pockets provide special places carefully store items including smartphones and wallets.
Italian full-grain cowhide and cotton lining bring refined elegance to the Meisterstück Soft Grain backpack. The most formal version of the new Montblanc backpacks with its soft leather, is enhanced with discreet design details, including the Montblanc emblem with palladium-coated ring.
A smart casual backpack in both large and medium sizes expands the Montblanc Extreme line, a collection designed to successfully withstand all the demands of man’s daily urban adventures. Made from innovative high-performance leather with a unique patented dressing and finishing technique that provides every piece with additional protection against the elements, the Extreme rucksack delivers great durability. The leather, with its subtle woven carbon look, the black aluminium fittings and the Montblanc emblem with ruthenium-plated ring contribute to a distinctively sleek appearance.
In addition to the Meisterstück Soft Grain and Extreme versions, a casual version of the Montblanc rucksack is available in Signature Black, a collection defined by its unique PVC-coated coating providing resistance against water, abrasion and stains, trimmed with printed calfskin for an added touch of refinement. The design features a distinctive “M” pattern inspired by the famous letter engraved on the nib of every Montblanc Meisterstück fountain pen. The jacquard lining and stainless steel fittings with a shiny finish embossed with the Maison’s name complete the modern explorer’s look.
Equipped with his Montblanc backpack, the trailblazer sets out on his journey of discovery, prepared for the unexpected. On his shoulders, he sports a fine leather companion that delivers comfort, reliability, and functionality with the sleek contemporary sophistication that is synonymous with Montblanc.
